Swami Vivekanand was a great Indian sage. His first name was Narendranath Dutta. He was born on 12th January 1863 in the holy and divine place of Kolkatta. He had high thinking and simple living. Really, he was a very good leader and philosopher.  Because he had great principles.

Childhood-day :–

Swami Vivekanand’s father was Vishwanath and his mother was Bhuvneswari Devi. However, he used to call Narendranath Dutta in the early days. Really, he was very wise. He had the good capability to understand his schooling teachings at a glance.

This excellence was recognized by his Gurus and was named ” Shrutidhar” by them. He had manifold talent and skills including swimming, wrestling which were a part of his schedule. Having been inspired by the teaching of Ramayan and Mahabharat, he had too much respect for religion. “Pavanputra Hanuman was his ideal for life.

Narendra was a lover of valor and a mystic by nature. Due to his upbringing in a spiritual family, he owned an argumentative personality in his childhood. However, all his beliefs were aided by suitable reasoning and judgment behind him. Such a quality also made him question the existence of the almighty. Thus, he saw many saints and asked everyone ” Have you seen God?” his spiritual quest remained unanswered until he met “Ramkrishna Paramhansa”.

 Meeting with Ramkrishna Paramhansa & Harmonization of Indian culture:–

Swami Vivekanand met Ramkrishna Paramhansa first time when later visited his friend’s place in Kolkatta. Being aware of the supernatural powers of Swami Vivekanand, he was called by Dakshineshwar. He had a deep insight that the birth of Swamiji was a boon to mankind for the upliftment of the universe. To satisfy his spiritual curiosity, he eventually accepted Ramakrishna Paramhansa as a guru. He was brought from darkness to fluorescence by his Guru. Because of his deep gratitude and reverence for his Guru, he traveled in all four directions to spread the teachings of his guru.

Swamiji won the hearts of all by addressing the audience as “Sisters and Brothers of America” with his incredible speech in Chicago.

Swamiji said these words that “I am proud to belong to a religion which has taught the world both tolerance and universal acceptance. we not only believe in universal tolerance but we really concede all religions as true. Thus; he carried forward the value of Indian religion by displaying the values of universal acceptance, unity, and harmony despite the plurality of cultures.
