People ought not to work against their country.

Note:- May का प्रयोग ज्यादा सम्भावना के लिए और May का प्रयोग बहुत कम संभावना के लिए होता है।

पापा आयेगे। ( पापा के आने की ज्यादा सम्भावना है)
Papa may come.
पापा शायद आयेगे। (पापा के आने की बहुत कम सम्भावना है)
